Pulp Magazine

I am saddened that one of my favourite magazines, Pulp was discontinued last year in September. Please click on the image for the article.

In regards to the article; I do agree that the fashion/culture magazine market in New Zealand is overly saturated, which is sad. However, like Lucyvonsturmer said, magazines immortalises peoples work. Digital media may be cost effective and eco-friendly, but it is so ephemeral. People collect magazines and have them on shelves as prized possessions. They may even be re-read, digital pages on the other hand are not likely to be re-read (this is the case with my design magazines).

Long live print media. Goodbye Pulp.
